Miroslava Kiňová’s from Prešov hobby is making lace. She learnt lacemaking from the well-known lacemaker Barbora Šimková, who specialized in Soľnobanská lace type and founded The Guild of Soľnobanská Lacemakers. There also Miroslava Kiňová learnt her technique of lacemaking. She prefers to create the coloured lace with the motifs that are most often associated with Christmas. Betlehem, stars and small fish made of lace, they are both decorations for the Christmas table as well as a nice gift.
